Free Market, Fiscal Conservative, Consumer Advocate
Why am I running? The voters deserve the opportunity to elect a commissioner who will fully advocate for the best interests of the citizens of Georgia. Why am I qualified to run? My college studies have afforded me a general understanding of Macro and Micro Economics. Over the last couple of years, I have studied subjects dealing with energy, government regulation, and economics. I have also been committed to public service through organizations such as Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, NAACP, Habitat for Humanity and the Grady County Planning Commission. I see my election to the PSC as a continuation of my commitment to serving others. Why should I vote for John Monds? Simply put, it is in your best interests. Whether you are a low income family or in the upper tax brackets... a small business owner or an industrial giant... the price you pay for energy effects your (net income) (bottom line) (wallet) (pocketbook). Having a Commissioner who supports free markets, competition, and deregulation gives you an opportunity to vote for economic policies that are proven to work for lowering your rates. Just look at what deregulation has done for the wireless phone industry. Choices and competition breed lower rates and equipment prices. The cell phone companies are even giving phones away.
